Onimusha: Way of the Sword Mask Puzzle Solution

Target masks: the four masks mounted above the locked container.
Count direction: left to right while facing the container.
Shooting order: 3, 4, 1, 2.
Reward: the container opens and gives the Unsettling Mask.

Quick Solution

1. Stand in front of the locked container. Make sure all four target masks above the container are visible.
2. Number the target masks from left to right. The leftmost mask is 1, then 2, 3, and 4.
3. Shoot mask 3. Do not shoot the clue masks on the opposite wall.
4. Shoot mask 4. Keep facing the same target wall so your numbering does not flip.
5. Shoot mask 1, then mask 2. The full order is 3, 4, 1, 2.
6. Open the container. Collect the Unsettling Mask after the puzzle resolves.

The room uses two mask sets. The masks on the shoji-style wall are the clue, while the masks above the locked container are the targets you shoot.

If you only need the answer, use 3, 4, 1, 2 on the target masks above the container.
